How To Adult

  1. I would have to say that there is no way to actually do this.  Everything that I tell you will be based on everything that I have done.  What I have done is my version of adulting.  It’s also full of me trying to pretend that I am a kid.
  2. Create a to-do list.  Put down everything you need to do on this paper.  Even put down when you want to shave your legs (because you will forget).
  3. Create a second to-do list, but organize this one by what you want to get done right now.
  4. Start working.
  5. Stop often for water/coffee/Facebook breaks.
  6. Pretend like you have it all together.
  7. Pretend that you enjoy this whole working/paying bills things.
  8. Stop to watch Disney movies/things you loved in your childhood.
  9. Finish your to-do list, even if you’re struggling to the end of the day.
  10. Prepare to go to sleep.
  11. Get distracted for a while by the internet.
  12. Go to bed.
  13. Get up at a ‘reasonable’ (although definitions of this change by day) time and prepare to start the process again.
